Around and About Berlin - Bachstraße 1-2, 10555 Berlin

I recently noticed this building in Moabit, which looks as if it has been deserted. Shame really, because I think it actually looks quite attractive and there are certainly much uglier buildings Around and About in Berlin.
It does sadly look as if it’s days are numbered, although I’m hoping that someone else might discover it in the near future and think “that’s just what we’ve been looking for”. I don’t know who the architect of the building was. In fact, I don’t know anything about it all. It looks as if was built around 1970-1972, although I might be mistaken.
Slowly but surely, the building and the surrounding grounds are becoming the target for vandalism. It really is sad to see buildings end this way.

I believe that used to be the seat of the Evangelische Kirche when the city was divided. I used to live just round the corner in the Siegmunds Hof student halls and always used to wonder what that place was! Took me ages to find out.
